TORX Trailer Floor Screws-1/4-20 Black Phosphate - choose from three lengths
This is the fastener that the professionals use when installing or replacing wood floors in trailers. Drill hole
(use a 7/32" drill bit)
through wood floorboard into metal floor supports, then install screw so that the screw head is flush with the floor. Black phosphate coating resists rust.

Good quality screws
These were actually a bit thinner than the screws I was replacing, which was OK since I just needed them for a small section of floor in my trailer's tack room, but would have been problematic if it were for the planks in the horse area. I admit I didn't measure the thickness of the original screws since there was only one size available- well, I did try, but the threading didn't match anything in Home Depot's sizer so it was hard to say what they were exactly! They seem like good quality screws.
