This is what we are going to recommend for caulking when installing roof vents. It is 2.7 fluid ounces (80 ml), so you can use it to install one to three vents. Buy this when you don't need a large amount in a caulking gun that will just end up being wasted. Comes with a "cone" applicator that you can clean out & re-use again. WE TESTED IT! The applicator stores separate and the tube has a screw-on cap so the adhesive stays fresh & stores perfectly.
SUPERFLEX is a general purpose, one-part silicone adhesive sealant that cures at room temperature to form a tough rubber seal. Adheres to most surfaces. Formulated to withstand extreme temperature cycling, UV light & ozone.
DIRECTIONS: Surfaces must be clean & dry. Remove all oil & grease. Apply an even 1/16" to 1/4" bead on one surface, surrounding all bolt holes. Remove excess silicone with knife. Assemble parts immediately. Do not squeeze gasket out by over-tightening bolt. Silicone fully cures in 24 hours.
USES: Protects leads from mechanical shock, electrical insulation, seal doors, windows, VENTS, flues, duct work; bond trim, signs, name plates.
