Economical Die-Cast Aluminum Alloy: Choose Lefts or Rights
These attractive flush-mount strap hinges are commonly found on tack room doors, drop-down windows, tack compartments and old refrigerators. They are made of die cast zinc/aluminum alloy, with a stainless steel pin & nylon bushing. They can be fastened to both aluminum or steel trailers with no adverse reaction. Highly polished chrome finish.
For application underneath a drop-down window or tack compartment with the hinges placed on the bottom, the head of the hinge pin should be placed at the outside of the window or door. So you will order a right and left.
For application on a tack room door, the hinge pins should face up, so--if the hinges are on the right side of the door, you need to order all rights, hinges on the left of the door, order all lefts.
For a tack room door with the hinges on the left, order all lefts.
Total length is 5 3/8". The screw hole placement is standard.
You will need SIX #10 X 1" sheet metal screws in steel or stainless steel to mount each hinge.
