1", 2" & 3" Plastic Replacement Prong for Door Holdbacks, Heavy-Duty
1", 2" & 3" HD Hard Plastic Replacement PRONG ONLY for our black rubber door holdbacks. Center hole for screw installation.
The 1" prong is heavy-duty, and may be just what you need to hold your door tighter than the standard. These prong heads are sized to be used with our 25 lb. & 40 lb. door holdback receivers.
The 2' & 3" heavy-duty prong may help if you need just one or two more inches of clearance to make your door shut properly, especially on V-shaped, aerodynamic tack rooms built over the tongue of the trailer.
These prong heads are sized to be used with our 25 lb. & 40 lb. door holdback receivers. Center hole for screw installation.
1": holds the door 1 3/4" from the wall. Use a #12 X 1 1/4" screw to fasten.
2": Holds the door 2 1/2" from the wall. Use a #12 X 2" screw to fasten.
3": Holds the door 3 1/2" from the wall. Use a #12 X 3" screw to fasten.
Trail Pals tip: You should never tug hard on your door to disengage the holdback, because you can tweak your expensive door or stress the hinges. If the fit is too tight (too much pull), the head of the prong can be shaved until the proper fit is obtained. OR, you can purchase a prong with a "standard" sized head, but they only come in the 1" size.
