Fix-it Halter Replacement Snap, choose from "Brass" or "Chrome"
Horses tend to catch their halter cheek straps in the trailer and break the snap. Carry a replacement snap like this in your emergency parts kit. Simply remove the old snap with a phillips head screwdriver, and install this one in the remaining nylon loop. It features a simple 1" screw-in attachment bar---no sewing!
Also works for a quick "fix" for just about any snap on a bridle or saddle, and you can simply remove it later when you are able to make a good repair, or keep it, because it is a quality product & will look nice on your tack item for years.
Choose bright nickel plated (shiny chrome look) for rust resistance, OR brass plated (an alloy of copper & zinc containing more than 50 percent copper), also rust resistant.
Snap: 2 7/8" long X 1 3/8" wide at the base and 1 inch wide inside the roller.
