Fender Trim for Aluminum, Diamond-plate or Steel Horse Trailer Fenders
(also known as Edge Guard)

In the horse trailer world, push-on edge guard makes an outstanding fender trim & is used to prevent injury to horses tied to to the side of the trailer.

And let's just say---we are frustrated with the glue-on edge-guard used for fender trim! Either the horses paw it off, or the glue fails & it starts hanging off the fenders, leaving an ugly residue. This type of edge guard used as fender trim, with small aluminum clips inside, is the way to go because it is easy to install with just a rubber mallet. You can pull off what is left of the glue-on product & install this right over it. Once on, this trim will conform perfectly to the shape of the fender, and stay there.

It can be easily fixed, with no tools involved. If a horse paws a portion of it off, just push it back on again with your bare hands.

Measure the fender edge from where it meets the trailer in the front to the same place in the rear. (You will need 8-12 feet for each side.) Fender trim is priced by the foot & comes in one continuous piece. Don't remove the old product until your order arrives. You may want to secure each end with a rivet or small screw, but it is not necessary. Both trims are very flexible, but they are easier to handle in warm weather.

This fender trim fits from 1/16" thick fenders to 1/8" thick fenders with a nice, tight fit. Applies easily with a rubber mallet, with clips facing the back of the fender. If desired, you can gently squeeze it with pliers here & there for a tighter fit, and it won't leave a noticeable mark.

Fender trim/ edge guard is priced by the foot & your order will arrive in one continuous piece.

I just purchased 30 feet of fender trip chrome. It was so easy to install and looks great. I am going to order another 30 feet for my other horse trailer. Trail Pals shipped it within two days. Great service. Now I need to review everything else I need for my older horse trailers.

great product
This trim looks great and makes the trailer safer. I put under tire fenders of the trailer so they weren't so sharp as to cut a horses leg if he sticks it in there or kicks. Good price too.

Fender Trim
I purchased the regular (black) fender trim, and it was exactly as described, although it looked nicer than the picture displays. I was very happy with the ease and fit with only the use of a rubber mallet. The company was a pleasure to deal with; my order was received very quickly and they seemed to truly appreciate your business. I would highly recommend this company.

when I called trailer pals about getting my butt chains replaced, I asked the sweet gal that was answering my questions, if there was any thing else I might need. I am new to the horse trailer scene and she said I would probablywould want this fender trim to protect my horse when tied. I am soo glad she suggested this product. After checking my fender trim, I know that the $17.50 I spent on this trim saved me a $800 vet bill and my horse's legs! Thank you Trailer Pals for saving me money. Great product!
