Drop-Down Windows serve as a horse trailer "feed-door" and window combined!
SLIM LINE SERIES, Choose from 3 sizes
Currently out of stock on all 3 sizes.

Top-latch handle opens from outside, is hinged at the bottom. Slider-style lower safety-glass panel allows screened ventilation with the window in the upright-closed position. These windows feature an intricate hinge system, and an aluminum frame with bars (called a cage or face guard) on the inside, that opens & closes separately, but can remain up when the window  portion is "dropped down", for optimum ventilation and the horse's protection. This product's face cage has 4 vertical bars and one horizontal bar that contains a lanyard for opening & closing featuring a pull & release system with plastic slam bolts on the sides.

* Heavy all-aluminum frame, in black
* Flush mount latch, locking w/ key
* Automotive rubber seal around the outer window and the frame
* Drop-down protective aluminum cage

*All windows are black frame with tinted "smoke" colored safety glass.

*window purchase includes inner mill finish aluminum trim piece (clamp ring).

**These windows may not match the style of your trailer's existing windows, due to the fact that some window manufacturers have gone out of business since your trailer was manufactured. Please look carefully to be sure the SHAPE of the window is a match.

*The radius of the corners is 3.305 inches. 90 degree radius. All window measurements are the rough hole opening measurement.

If you are measuring the window frame, both height & width should measure 1/1/4" larger than the rough hole opening.

The windows shown installed on this Circle J trailer shown are the basic model of window that we are offering for sale, except the windows are now solid black aluminum across the top where the latch is. Pictured are the 24"W X 20"T size in 3 different positions, shown from the interior & exterior.

*most of the time you will need eighteen  #8 X 1/2" sheet metal screws for installation with a properly-sized clamp ring. We think you should re-use the screws you remove from the original window, if possible, because they are already perfect size for your application.

DIY disclaimer: Anytime you are going to cut a hole in your trailer, we recommend you be perfectly sure of what your are doing. If you have not done this before, or you are not sure of how this window installs, please take the trailer to a professional. These windows do not come with instructions, because if you have any questions, don't do it yourself!!

We recommend that all parts and accessories be installed by a professional. If you choose to install them yourself, Trail Pals will not be responsible for any damage caused to yourself or your property.

Purchased one of these to replace the slider window in the escape door on our 3 horse slant load. Very pleased with quality of product, price, shipping speed, and ease of working with the company. Definitely recommend the product and company!

Worked Perfect!
I ordered two new drop-down windows to replace the stationary windows that came on my trailer so that I could have better ventilation. I was hesitant to order glass online and have it shipped but the windows were packaged so well that they came in with no breakage. I took them to my local trailer dealer for installation and they had them in in less than an hour and they are perfect. I'm ready to start riding, come on summer! Again, the staff at TrailPals were so helpful, thank you!

Trailer modification
I was modifying my 2 horse slant to allow for the front stall horse to face forward or backward. This required replacing the old butt window on the right side of the trailer with a drop down window. Trail Pals was great working with me to ensure I had the right parts to complete the project, plus the parts to do a few repairs too.
