Used in utility trailers and horse trailers as a floor-mount tie down also, for both off-road vehicle use & horse hauling. Safe--won't hurt a horse if he stands on it. We use it to mount butt chains in horse trailers. Not used for tying horses!
Fastens with one 1/4"carriage bolt & two #14 screws or just three #14 screws, depending on the wight of the item you are tying down. Breaking strength is 1,500 lbs.
