Have you noticed? There are an ever-increasing amount of fancy "sport utility trailers" on the road now. You just can't assume anymore that the Average Joe traveling behind you knows that you are hauling live animals in your trailer. (He may be wondering why you are driving so cautiously.) You need to warn him to "stay back", and perhaps let him know what you are hauling, so he can safely pass.
Take a good look at the back & sides of your trailer. If you were to loose the use of your trailer lights at night, would traffic around you be able to see your trailer? There is usually some space to add a warning sign, some reflective marker/clearance/tail stickers & a couple of strips of reflective tape. Be safe!
