"Fix-it"
Halter Replacement Snap |
 |
Horses tend to catch their halter cheek snaps in the trailer
and break them. Carry a replacement snap like this in
your emergency parts kit. Simply remove the old snap, and install
this one in the remaining nylon loop. It features a
simple 1" screw-in attachment bar---no sewing!

Lead Rope
Snaps |
 |
These 3" lead rope snaps
are an item you'll want to keep in your
emergency parts kit. They are strong, but
can break in an emergency, or get flung off
in the bushes. You can slip one on & tie a
knot in the rope or pair it with a rope
clamp (sold below) to repair a halter lead rope. |

Rope
Clamps |
 |
These rope clamps are
an item you'll want to keep in your
emergency parts kit. Many times when a tied
horse pulls back, the rope doesn't
break---but the rope clamp opens and it and
the halter lead snap gets flung off somewhere.
Always keep one or two rope clamps in your
trailer. With this item, a halter lead rope can
easily be repaired on the spot with just a
hammer. |

Bull
Snap, w/Thumb Hold |
 |
This Bull Snap is different
from most because instead of the necessary 2-hand operation the thumb hold makes one-hand
operation a breeze. These can be used
as replacement snaps for the old two-hand
type in lead ropes or trailer ties. Keep one,
along with a rope clamp, in your
emergency parts kit! |
