Cam Latch aka Cargo Vise System
Replaces
your old cam bar system with a newer,
easier & more secure KEYED cargo vise
system.
The Keyed
Cam Latch is a secure latch
and lock all in one system! The
exterior is made from die-cast aluminum
and internal working components are of
stainless steel. The cam bar slides down
into the beveled entry jaw and opens the
bar lock lever. Then then as it slides
down farther, the bar lock lever securely
closes and retains the bar. Super-safe for
your animals, it cannot open without
manually pulling the bar lock lever
forward. The top 2 mounting screws
are covered by the cam bar for a theft deterrent. *Your
entire order of keyed cam latches units
will be keyed alike, unless specified
otherwise. *Included
in this purchase: The
Keyed Cam Latch may not completely cover the
holes when you remove the cam bar hasp on the door. Included in this
purchase is a 3 1/2" X 7 inch piece
of peel & stick vinyl safety tread to
nicely cover any holes showing behind the
latch. Also: 3 large sheet metal screws &
2 keys included with each system. *Remove
the top & bottom of the existing cam
bar hasp before installing new system. Can be used with any
thickness of cam bar that measures up to 1
1/8" tall. Older, taller steel
"butterfly" bars can be shaved
in a small section to fit in the
latch. *Please specify correct

Works
in conjunction with either the "L" handle or
"T" handle with a 5/16" square shaft. This part mounts to the inside of
the door. The shaft connected to the handle goes through the door, fits in the hole and opens
or closes the slam latch when turned from the outside.
Door
thickness doesn't matter---after inserting the shaft into
slam latch, just saw off any remaining length of shaft
(3 1/2" shaft). polished steel.
Specify left hand or right hand slam latch.

Exactly
the same as a plain slam latch (pictured and described
above), but comes with a steel lever on the inside of
the latch that allows the latch to be opened from the
inside of the trailer, if the "L" or
"T" handle on the outside is unlocked. Latch hole fits a
5/16" square shaft. Polished steel.

THE TRAILER WITH THE DOOR CLOSED, THE DOOR HINGE IS ON
