Trail Pals tip: These tie rings are strong, but aluminum is naturally brittle. They can break if tightened down too much during installation. We've kept them inexpensive, so you can order an extra one to have around, just in case!

 Tie Ring, Aluminum with Bracket 

3 1/2" long bracket is made of 3/8" molded aluminum with 2 5/8" bolt centers. Aluminum ring is 7/16" material, with an inner diameter of 1 7/8", and an outer diameter of 2 3/4". No strength rating is available, but this item is commonly used for tying horses. For steel or aluminum trailers.

Aluminum Two-Way Roof Vent

We have upgraded our roof vents and now offer you the best & safest roof vent for equines on the market today! The 3 metal blades that were a danger to animals are now eliminated--much safer for your animals, in case of impact.  The interior handle with which to position the vent lid is fastened on much more securely and it is easier to grasp. It has a ergonomic grip -one squeeze of the handle relieves the sealing force for simple opening in either direction. In addition, there is a full-size neoprene gasket in the lid to prevent leaks.

We recommend installing the closed-cell gasket made specifically for this roof vent to prevent leaking. This gasket also makes a great template for cutting a perfect hole in the trailer roof.

We are the only company we know of that offers two sizes of trim ring for this vent--1 1/8" tall for a one-thickness roof or a taller trim at 2 1/4" tall for an insulated roof--both at the same low price.

This product is commonly used to increase air circulation in all varieties of trailers. Installs over a 5 3/4" to 6" round hole in the trailer wall & install with pop rivets. Much better than the old "chrome" type, because it will never rust. Operated from the exterior of the trailer.

Silent Door Holder-3 piece set w/ rubber insert

The plunger installs on the trailer door and the receiver with rubber door stop installs on the trailer wall. This will quietly fasten the door open and can be fastened with one hand or no hands. Each measurement is from the plunger tip to the trailer wall. Screw centers are 2" apart on the plunger side and 2 1/2" apart on the receiver side. Includes a complete set of plunger, bracket & rubber insert.

**The aluminum Silent Door Holder prongs are made differently than the steel products above---these are molded in 2 pieces & the prong is fastened to the base with an heavy-duty aluminum screw.

*Install with #14 X 1" sheet metal screws, or a #10 stainless steel machine screw & jack nut, available on the fastener page.

  Keyed Cam Latch System

Replaces your old cam bar latch with a newer, easier & more secure KEYED cam latch system.

The Keyed Cam Latch is a secure latch and lock all in one system! The exterior is made from die-cast aluminum and internal working components are of stainless steel. It is available in three powder-coated finishes: White, Black & Silver.

The cam bar slides down into the beveled entry jaw and opens the bar lock lever. Then then as it slides down farther, the bar lock lever securely closes and retains the bar. Super-safe for your animals, it cannot open without manually pulling the bar lock lever forward. The top 2 mounting screws are covered by the cam bar for a theft deterrent.

*Your entire order of keyed cam latches units will be keyed alike, unless specified otherwise. 

*The bar lock lever will hold up to a 1 1/4" tall and 3/8" thick cam bar. The keyed cam latch may not completely cover the old cam bar latch holes in the door. Usually, one hole is left showing at the top. This can be closed by inserting a sheet metal screw screw left over from the cam latch back into the hole.

Three #14 flat head sheet metal screws are included with each new keyed cam latch, but we recommend that you attach the keyed cam latches with a machine screw and jack nut to create a better anchor, available below or on the FASTENER page.

LISA Door Holder

Two pieces. The snap side attaches to the wall of the trailer on a bracket with 4 holes. The 2 1/8" arm hangs from a door-side bracket (w/2 holes) when not in use. It will hold the door 3 1/2" away from the trailer wall. Two hands are needed to snap the arm into the catch bracket. Also, two hands are needed to hold the snap open in order to release the arm. This door holder cannot disengage unless it is manually released, even if it is bumped or pulled. Super strong--good for strong wind areas or heavy doors.  In bright polished cast-aluminum.

The 2" LISA will hold the door 3 1/2" away from the trailer wall.

The 4" inch LISA will hold the door 5 1/2" away from the trailer wall.

*Use six #12 sheet metal screw to fasten the LISA door holder.
